Top ways to use ChatGPT for repurposing your podcast (and grow your audience)
I’m building an email series that will cover practical ways to help you grow and repurpose your podcast with ChatGPT 3.5. If you’d like full info once the item is ready, fill out this brief interest form. June 2024 is the official release date.
hiya Coffee Cup,
Spring has finally sprung here in Copenhagen, thank goodness. Along with that newness we also have far too much AI newsness. Feel free to check out the new AI newsletter tab at the top of the page for newsletters that follow the play by play stuff happening. I generally will be intentionally behind the news curve because I’m focused on stable, sustained workflows and tools. So I tend to wait for others to test things out before I do it.
Except for today. Today I throw my hat in the ChatGPT 4o ring.
I’ll show you later in the newsletter but first, let’s explore our brain on LLMs.
How does ChatGPT ‘think’? Psychology and neuroscience crack open AI large language models
I got lost in the weeds on this fascinating article so ended up trying out Claude 3 Sonnet’s summarizing prowess. Here’s what it said about this article.
PROMPT:
I need help summarizing an article. Can you summarize the article in 3-4 sentences and then list the top 3 surprising aspects of the article. list them with 1, 2, 3 and less than 10 words per point.
OUTPUT:
“Researchers are struggling to explain the inner workings and decision-making processes of large language models like ChatGPT. These "black box" AI systems are inscrutable, even to their creators, sparking the field of explainable AI to reverse-engineer them. However, unpacking their complexity remains an immense challenge.
1. Large language models fabricate misleading explanations
2. Researchers treat AI models like psychology subjects
3. AI models may construct internal world models”

The illusion of ChatGPT 4o (new episode)
This video from the last newsletter issue of ChatGPT 4o is misleading. The presenter made it seem like these functions were available now. I apologize for including it in the last newsletter post with the impression that this is what’s available. It’s just not true. I’m guessing posters like this are just pulling video clips from Spring Update page of the OpenAI website, where they have a 26+ minute video on Chatty’s “new” capabilities.
What I show in today’s episode is what’s available for mere humans (not invited to fancy reveal tech events) on May 17, 2024. Everything could change after that point.

Main takeaways below!
Proud to be part of these events in 2024!
At Home With The Intuitive Cook: Guest
Was delighted to chat about my new cooking adventures with Katerina. There’s a very real tie map from my experiments in general, with food and with technology. Have a listen and let me know if you see it (and if you’re the same way…or not)
The Podcast Show: Attendee
Going as a last minute decision, so attendee is my label here, lol. Invited to some interesting events at and after the conference so follow me on LinkedIn for updates.
The International Women’s Podcast Awards: Judge
The International Women’s Podcast Awards in person event happens on June 19th in London. I’m delighted to be a judge for the event this year. It’s really changed my mind on awards shows because of how Naomi Mello, the Founder, and her crew rate the podcasts.
If you enjoyed this post, hit the heart/like button. Thank you!
Main Takeaways:
People jump on the idea of what’s coming in tech FAR BEFORE it’s actually available. I understand the power of getting people excited but I hate this. Be honest about this coming soon instead of sharing misleading availability.
All 4o has done for Chatty so far is slow down the already functional capabilities. I know it’s temporary but just no. Not good.
The new option in the dropdown menu to let Chatty pick the version that would be best for your prompt is an interesting idea. I wonder if this is to keep the online access of Chatty 4 at a minimum when it’s not needed.
What would you do with Chatty’s future vision capabilities? (no X rated answers please.)
